It is with immense joy and enthusiasm that I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you, as we begin a brand-new academic year. I want to extend my warmest greetings to our returning students, dedicated faculty, supportive parents, and all those who make our school community so special. Your dedication and enthusiasm are the driving forces behind the vibrant and positive atmosphere that sets our school apart.

As we move forward into the new academic year, we remain committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all. Our focus on academic excellence, character development, and student well-being will remain at the heart of our educational endeavors. In closing, I'd like to express my gratitude for being part of the Burnham School family! I must also thank my family for their continuous support. My wife Valerie, has always provided love and an unwavering belief in me, fueling my determination to make a difference in the lives of our students here at Burnham School. Watching my children Roxanne, Gina, and Stephen, along with my four grandchildren, grow and enjoy life reminds me why I strive to create a brighter future for all.

Jennifer Pozdzal- Principal

My name is Jennifer Pozdzal and I am very honored and excited to be the principal of such an amazing school. Just a little information about myself. This will be my 19th year in education and I have taught grades K, 1, 5, and 6, an instructional coach, and Assistant Principal.  I have earned an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Development, a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a Master of Science in Education, a license in Special Education, and a license in Administration.  In addition, I have received my certification in Applied Educational Neuroscience. 

I have been married to my husband Jarek for 11 years and we have two beautiful daughters. Riley is 10 and will be in 5th grade this upcoming school year. She loves to dance, swim, and drive her mother crazy! Raelynn is 8 and will be entering 3rd grade. She loves to swim, sing, and create some "interesting" Science experiments all over the house!

I am dedicated to ensuring that your children are prepared for success in an ever-changing world. This means providing them with the tools and skills they need to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible citizens. I believe that with a strong academic foundation and a commitment to lifelong learning your children can achieve anything they set their minds to.
